A representative will wait for you at Juan Santamaría International Airport with a sign and your name to take you to your hotel in San José.

Day 2: Arenal Volcano + Baldi Hot Springs.
After breakfast at the hotel, the guide will pick you up for a journey to the impressive Arenal Volcano in La Fortuna de San Carlos. You’ll have the chance to admire the almost perfect cone-shaped volcano during a short hike (weather permitting) and then relax in one of the best hot springs in the area. Optionally, you can unwind with a delightful drink in the soothing waters. To end the day, an excellent buffet-style dinner will be served. After dinner, return directly to San José.

Day 3: catamaran tour to Tortuga Island.
Discover the magic of a dream island, the famous Tortuga Island, located in the Gulf of Nicoya. Enjoy turquoise waters optimal for swimming. The catamaran has three different areas for your enjoyment: the main salon with air conditioning, a bar section, and changing rooms; the bow offers a wonderful view of all the landscapes; and the upper deck, an area equipped for rest where you can enjoy a large Jacuzzi.

Day 4: combo tour (Coffee Tour + Poás Volcano + La Paz Waterfall Gardens).
Visit Doka Estate for a delicious breakfast and a coffee tour. Then head to Poás Volcano to admire the impressive main crater with sulfur fumaroles and lush cloud forest vegetation. Continue to La Paz Waterfall Gardens for lunch and a nature tour. Walk along a trail leading to spectacular waterfalls in the middle of the forest. The park also includes visits to the hummingbird gallery, serpentarium, aviary, and frog exhibition.

Pick up at your hotel in comfortable minibuses, taking you to the city center, where a double-decker bus with panoramic views will be waiting to start the city tour. The tour includes stops at the city’s best sites, such as the Museum of Costa Rican Art, the Central Market for shopping, coffee tasting, the lobby of the National Theater, the majestic Gold Museum, National Monument, and panoramic views of San José’s iconic landmarks. Enjoy folk music on the bus.
